Primary Purpose
The Manager Field Ops is responsible for managing all operational functions at a branch.
Essential Functions
Direct oversight of dispatcher / routers, service technicians, pick up & delivery drivers, yard personnel, fence crew(s), and shopReview of all paperwork including manifests, routing tickets, DVIRs, etc. for completion and accuracyMonitor all service levels and deliveries to ensure the best efficiencies. Recommend measures to improve operational practices and quality of customer careWork directly with other departments to ensure excellent / positive communication within the regionWork with various departments to resolve customer service & delivery issues. Work with Operations Managers at other branches to coordinate asset transfersMaintain proper staffing levels to meet and exceed customer and branch needsAnalyze and report on operational activities, i.e., service levels, routing efficiency, labor & overtime, and fuelWork with the Regional Vice President to develop and implement standard practices and efficiency recommendationsResponsible for fleet DOT administration including, log books & record maintenanceReview and approve e-time punches prior to submitting for payroll processing. Review and approve time off request forms and schedule time off based on operational necessityAdminister the company's safety program at the branch. Work with Safety & HR departments to safety coordinate training, where necessaryResponsible for employee development & conducting periodic performance reviewsCreate and maintain a positive, safe, and effective work environmentOperate a variety of company vehiclesPull trailers with company vehiclesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications

At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
