American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatrics RN for night shifts in an acute care hospital, requiring a current CA RN license and Epic charting experience.

Job Details

  • Work in the Pediatrics unit of an acute care hospital,
  • Night shifts, 3x12 hour schedule (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM),
  • May float between like units within skillset and across facilities within the state,
  • Care for pediatric patients,
  • Uses Epic EMR system,
  • Free parking available on site,

Job Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required at time of consideration,
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric RN experience required,
  • Experience with Epic EMR required,
  • Current BLS certification required,
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable setting,
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration,
  • No pending RN licenses accepted,
  • Former permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility,

    • Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will be considered,
  • Orientation includes 40 hours of training,
  • Minimal to no RTO preferred; all RTO requests must be included during initial consideration, with a maximum of two requests,
  • RNs must wear royal blue or navy blue scrubs with peds-friendly tops,
  • All travelers are expected to float as needed between facilities within the state,
  • Local candidates are accepted,
