American Traveler is seeking a pediatric RN with at least one year of experience and an active CA RN license for a night shift position.

Job Details

  • Work in a pediatric unit within an acute care hospital,
  • Pediatric patient population with all related cases,
  • Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19 : 00-07 : 30,
  • Floating required within skillset and potentially among state facilities,
  • EMR system used is Epic and experience is required,
  • Pediatric-friendly scrub top with royal or navy blue bottoms required,

Job Requirements

  • Active California RN license required at time of application,
  • Minimum of 1 year pediatric RN experience required,
  • Current BLS and other required certifications,
  • Epic charting experience required,
  • Must provide two supervisory references covering one year of employment in a comparable specialty within the last three years,
  • Social Security card, driver's license, and proof of current vaccinations (COVID, flu) required for consideration,
  • Pending licenses not accepted,

    • Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
  • Former permanent staff must have a 3-month break before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility,
  • Minimal to no requested time off allowed and all RTO must be submitted at time of application,
  • Free parking is available for staff,
