Accountant

Financial Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant who is proficient in managing accounts receivable and payable, in-house payroll, payroll tax reports, and sales tax reports. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for handling annual renewals of various insurance policies including health, commercial liability, workers' compensation, and supplemental insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Conduct in-house payroll and prepare payroll tax reports.
• Prepare sales tax reports in compliance with regulations.
• Handle annual renewals for insurance policies including health, commercial liability, workers' compensation, and supplemental insurance.
• Perform general ledger reconciliation and month-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and balance sheets.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards.

Work Environment

This is a 100% in-office position in a small manufacturing company. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. and Friday from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.87 / hr.
