- Project Engineer (EIT / EI) – Water / Wastewater
What You'll Do : Primary Duties
Preparation of design plans, specifications, and reports for a variety of water / wastewater and stormwater projects which may include transmission, distribution, collection, treatment, storage, utility master planning, permitting and various engineering tasks.Hydraulic modeling including stormwater pre / post and advanced treatment and storage design along with water and sewer pumping systems and hydraulic water distribution modeling.Ability to successfully interact with various public and private clients and other jurisdictional agencies.Performing assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.Review of design plans and comparison to accepted municipal standards and details.Preparing engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.Working on a wide range of projects and tasks and assist with field research, data collection, data analysis, graphics, maps and data presentation, and report development.Management of time and workload to stay on schedule and within budget.Limited travel to assist with site investigations, construction observation and project transmittals.What You'll Need : Requirements
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.E.I Certificate preferred or eligible and scheduled for FE exam.Detail-oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skillsProficiency in spreadsheets, word processing and standard office software.Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and ability to meet deadlines.Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.Experience with WaterCAD, ICPR and other modeling software is preferred.Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.What We Offer :
