As a Neurology Physician, you will provide locum PRN shifts performing non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments in Central Colorado. Your role includes conducting interviews and physical assessments, focusing on general medicine and traumatic brain injury, while determining patient conditions without prescribing treatment. Board certification in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R is required, along with local residency and proficiency in physical testing.

Job details :

• Start : As soon as credentialing is complete
• Able to work weekends, if desired / needed
• Two (2) options for coverage : Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and / or schedule Veterans within your own practice
• Option to work days(4-hours) and / or full days(8-hours)
• One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment : range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, evaluating traumatic brain injury. Exams will be a mix of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury.
• No prescribing, no treatment
• DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
• Use of Goniometer required
• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
• Own personal laptop (NO MACs)
