[job_card.job_description]Must be able to work in a team environment. Candidate must be able to communicate in English, both in written and oral form. Must have the following skills : clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, precision working, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making. Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Alcohol Awareness Card. Previous cocktail server experience preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. While performing the duties of this job, the team members are constantly standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, and balancing during the duration of their shift. Must be able to constantly lift / carry 25lbs or less. The team members will constantly have repetitive use of both hands including light and firm / strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required. Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work performed indoors, alone, and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others around computer equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud. Team Member may be exposed to vibrations, slippery surfaces, odor, and secondhand smoke. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide proper and professional cocktail service to all guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction.
- Promote and document orders for drinks, reciting selections of all “call,” and “premium” brands as requested, pass on order to Bartender, properly garnish and deliver to guest in a timely manner.
- Always maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment including removing empty glasses / bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping / mopping floors, scrubbing / sanitizing equipment, etc.
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar daily, before, after and during shift.
- Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
- Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner.
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
