This opportunity is for a Social Worker specializing in school settings to support middle school students in Detroit, MI. This contract position offers a valuable chance to provide critical social and emotional support during the current school year (CSY).

Responsibilities :

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with middle school students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention plans
• Assess student needs and connect families with munity resources and social services
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and case notes
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success and wellbeing
