Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Medicine in Newport News, VA. This is a locum position with competitive salary and travel allowance..

Job Details :

  • Start Date : February 7, 2025, with ongoing needs.
  • Reason for Coverage : To support two full-time providers during time off or vacancies.
  • Practice Setting : Occupational Health.
  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM to close (typically 4 : 30 PM, but may extend due to walk-in injuries).
  • Average Patients Per Day : 8-10.
  • EMR System : Systoc.
  • Exam Rooms : 5.
  • On-Site Team : Includes RNs, RTs, MAs, LPN, RN Supervisor, Office Manager, and PSRs.

Required Duties :

  • Pre-Employment Physicals.
  • Return-to-Duty Testing.
  • DOT Physicals.
  • Workers' compensation injury care.

    • Pay and Benefits :

  • $70 - $85 per Hour with Malpractice Insurance
  • Travel Reimbursement :

    • ~$150 / night lodging cap.

    Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Required.
  • Licensure : Active Virginia license required.
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS, DOT certification required.
  • Availability : Must be noted at the time of submission, with preference for providers who can cover all dates.
