Top academic hospital in Brooklyn looking for a Gastroenterologist with special interest in either motility, IBD or hepatology to help build out programs. This is an employed position with a base salary + RVU bonus, CME money and standard hospital benefits including malpractice coverage. Job Description :

Compensation : $375000 - $450000 Job ID : 31296

Job Function :

• Department currently has seven general GIs who report into Chair of GI.
• Program has therapeutic endoscopists, 2 hepatologists that rotate from local institutions, a GI motility program and a large pediatric IBD program that provides referrals.
• Expect schedule to be equivalent of 4 days / 8 sessions clinical and 1 day / 2 sessions towards administrative time.
• Customize clinical work based on advanced training, client willing to customize based on incoming physician desires for clinical work, teaching and research.
• Involvement in teaching and academics required, have two fellows in program so want this person very engaged in teaching.
• Faculty appointment through local medical school.
