As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and strong communication. Pay Rate : $17.30 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Tue 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Wed 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues encountered during patrols.
  • Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when required in security-related matters.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
