Retail General Manager

As a Retail General Manager at Pilot Company, you will have the unique opportunity to oversee the daily operations of the nation's largest network of travel centers. You will lead a team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the experience of millions of truck drivers and travelers who rely on Pilot Flying J for high-quality services and products. The Retail General Manager will ensure that all aspects of the store, from fuel sales to food service, operate smoothly and adhere to our high standards of customer satisfaction. Drive operational excellence within the travel center, including store financial performance, product inventory, and personnel management Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain company standards and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Lead, train, and develop a team of managers and team members to ensure a positive, productive work environment Oversee the budgeting, P&L, and forecasting activities to achieve financial goals Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-efficiency Direct promotional and marketing efforts to drive sales growth and build brand loyalty Address customer concerns, ensuring a high standard of customer service and satisfaction Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property according to company standards Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate others Exceptional organizational and time management skills Proficiency in inventory management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems Capable decision-maker with a knack for problem-solving Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in financial planning and budget management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in Retail Management or Supply Chain Logistics (preferred but not required) Food Safety Certification (if overseeing food operations)aa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
