Position Location : Washington, DC

Who are you?

Security-cleared Professional : You have made it through the process of receiving a United States government security clearance - congratulations! We know you are a trustworthy intel professional because you have a Top Secret Clearance.

Education and Experience : You have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience implementing, performance tuning, and supporting databases with experience in PostgreSQL.

• Experience performing general troubleshooting, database maintenance activities including backup and recovery, capacity planning, and managing user accounts.
• Experience in identifying and documenting risk areas and mitigation strategies for process and procedure activities.
• Experience in managing schemas, indexing, objects, and partitioning the tables.
• Experience in managing system configurations.
• Experience creating data design models, database architecture, and data repository design.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and effectively communicate details with all levels of management.
• Possess the necessary people skills to identify requirements and deliver results.

What you'll do :

Our team provides our Federal Law Enforcement Clients mission and business critical reporting and analytics, blended from several internal source systems. You will work as part of the our infrastructure team to ensure optimal operation of each of the databases across our AWS environment, to include performance tuning and support development teams in line with client requirements. Additionally, you will need to able to identify and troubleshoot issues, proposing solutions in coordination with broader teams.
