Purpose of Position
The objective for the Inside Sales Consultant position is to drive new business to the NetJets organization. They function as the first point of contact for prospective NetJets clients. The core functions of this role are: lead generation, outbound prospecting, phone-selling, and strategic targeting.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The Inside Sales Consultant is responsible for:
- Generating leads for outside sales executives through market research within the assigned geographic territory.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of sales interactions and opportunities within SalesForce.
- Qualifying potential NetJets Owners that are made up of C-Level decision-makers and high net-worth individuals.
- Prospecting through a variety of techniques with a heavy emphasis on outbound calling.
- Using insight-based selling, acting as a trusted advisor and securing commitments through the sales process.
- Creating new business opportunities for outside sales executives.
- Partnering with outside sales teams to move prospective buyers through the sales cycle.
- Acting as a business partner to your outside sales executive, collaborating on new ways to grow your assigned market and exceed sales goals for the territory.
- In addition to the listed daily responsibilities above, the Inside Sales Consultant also has the opportunity to travel to the assigned geographic territory to attend local prospect and Owner events hosted by NetJets on occasion.
- Top-performing Inside Sales Consultants will be supported in cultivating the foundational skills necessary for further advancement within the NetJets sales organization including but not limited to Sr. Sales Consultant, Associate Sales Executive, Account Executive, and Sales Executive.

Education
Bachelor's in Sales or Business Administration

- Excellent verbal and written communications are a must.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to constantly changing situations and many different personalities.
- Knowledge of SalesForce.com or other CRMs is a plus, but not required.
- Must be self-motivated and results-driven.
- Ability to gain commitments over the phone.
- Experience meeting and exceeding a sales quota preferred, but not required.
