Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Server to join our opening team. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to hospitality. A refined understanding of Italian cuisine and wine is preferred, though training will be provided.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to anticipate guest needs, and a polished, gracious demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

Provide warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service to all guests

Present and explain menu items, daily specials, and wine recommendations with confidence

Maintain strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, our Roman-inspired menu, and beverage offerings

Collaborate with the FOH team to ensure seamless service throughout each shift

Accurately input orders, manage guest checks, and operate the POS system

Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service areas

Uphold company service standards and embody the hospitality philosophy of Bottega Salaria

Comply with TABC regulations, food safety standards, and local health guidelines

Qualifications

1–2 years of serving experience in a high-quality or upscale dining environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional appearance and polished hospitality approach

Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Wine knowledge is a plus, especially Italian and Texas selections (training provided)

Must obtain Food Handler certification prior to start date

Reliable, positive, and team-focused mindset
