Department : Interventional Radiology - Neuro and Vascular lab

Schedule :  Monday - Friday 7 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm (4 10 hour shifts) . This requires a 30 minute response time to the hospital.

Hospital : Ascension St. Vincent Hospital

Location : Indianapolis, IN

The Indianapolis campus has 16 procedural labs. Currently there are 3 cardiac catheterization labs, 4 electrophysiology labs, 2 neuro suites, and 5 vascular / body labs.  Our labs are busy and continue to grow. We will provide you  with an orientation that is tailored to ensure a successful future within multiple procedural specialties.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

• Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
• Prepare, implement, and document plan of care. Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
• Perform and / or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
• Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
