Location : Colorado, Western U.S. (Travel Required) Pay : $28$32 / hour (Contract-to-Hire, OT x1.5)

Position Summary

The Safety Manager will lead safety initiatives, provide hands-on training for heavy equipment operation, and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards. This role requires proactive engagement with field teams and general contractors to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with foremen and superintendents to resolve field challenges.
• Maintain safety standards and represent the company professionally with general contractors.
• Conduct rotating jobsite visits for consistent safety oversight.
• Support supervisors in completing Jobsite Safety Surveys and ensure timely documentation.
• Assist foremen with JHAs, lift / mobilization plans, rigging setups, and site-specific safety controls.
• Provide real-time coaching when hazards are identified.
• Ensure daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and equipment inspections are completed and documented.
• Lead new-hire safety onboarding and integration.
• Deliver task- and equipment-specific safety training (rigging, fall protection, excavation, crane support, spotter training, etc.).
• Help develop a structured training handbook for new hires and supervisors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
