Job Title: Host/Hostess

Location: Altura Concepts Restaurants (Various Locations)
Job Summary:
As the first point of contact for guests, the Host/Hostess plays a vital role in delivering the warm, welcoming hospitality that defines the Altura Concepts experience. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing wait times, seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow of service from the front door to the dining table.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and sincerely upon arrival.
- Manage the waitlist and reservations using the restaurant’s reservation system.
- Assign guests to tables while balancing server sections.
- Communicate wait times effectively and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, lobby, and entrance area.
- Answer incoming calls and assist with inquiries and to-go orders as needed.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Support other front-of-house staff when necessary to ensure seamless service.
- Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return.
Qualifications:
- Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, professional demeanor and a genuine love for hospitality.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
