What youll do :

Work closely with students with special needs in small group or 1 : 1 settings

Build rapport and trust with the children in your care

Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment

Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEP's (individual education plans)

Take direction from lead educators and assist when needed

Some roles include assisting various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1 : 1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom

Perks & Compensation :

Earn up to $23 / hr for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term. While pay varies based on certification, school, and the assignment, we strive to pay some of the highest rates among education providers.

What Were Looking For :

Passion for education and putting students first

An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be

College credits, Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree or CBEST

Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor

State & federal background checks

Youll stand out if you have :

Worked with children who have Special Education needs

Spent time in Special Education settings

Any Special Education specific training

ABA experience (Applied Behavior Analysis)

Experience working in K-12 schools

Experience with assisting in various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1 : 1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom
