Position Type : Full-Time M-F Hours : Vary

Wage : $26.00 - $31.00 per hour

Driving Required | Open Until Filled

Position Summary :

We're looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who's passionate about early childhood development and making a real difference. You'll help children reach their physical potential through individualized therapy programs and age-appropriate techniques. This is more than a job-it's a mission!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support implementation of personalized therapeutic plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist in helping children improve motor function and physical capabilities
  • Provide center-based and home-based services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in required training
  • Work professionally with colleagues, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Support a positive and inclusive environment for all children and families
  • Travel locally / statewide as needed to deliver services
  • Follow all safety, health, and documentation procedures

Qualifications :

  • Education & Experience : Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
  • Licenses / Certifications : License or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant with the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department : New Mexico Physical Therapy Board and work under the supervision of a licensed PT.
  • Background Checks :

    • General Background Check

  • NM Department of Health Fingerprinting
  • Driving Record (MVR)

    • (Other federal-level clearances not required for this position)
