Civil Engineer Project Engineer

In this role, you’ll support all phases of civil engineering design, project management, and on-site execution. As an essential contributor, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely completion of projects. Key Responsibilities – Civil Engineering Project Management

• Coordinate and support the management of civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction completion.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications for compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards, and best practices.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate project progress, safety, and quality assurance.
• Assist with permitting processes and documentation required for municipal, provincial, and federal approvals.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and local authorities.
• Support cost estimation, scheduling, and procurement functions for project delivery.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and geotechnical data to inform project planning and design.
• Monitor project budgets, prepare progress reports, and assist with project close-out documentation.
• Foster a culture of health and safety compliance at all stages of project execution.

Location and Work Environment Details

Position based in the Greater Toronto Area with travel to project sites as required. Combination of office and field work. Flexible start dates are available for the right candidate.
