Summary :
The dedicated Neurology Registered Nurse provides both routine and advanced care in a clinical setting, demonstrating the competence to manage complex patient situations. This role involves developing long-term healthcare strategies and effectively addressing the various psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
Responsibilities :
- Exhibits strong leadership qualities in accordance with OneCHRISTUS Competencies, whether leading oneself, others, or teams.
- Delivers nursing care in alignment with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, employing the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Administers medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring patient responses for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
- Maintains thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assesses educational needs and delivers information to patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring they have the resources necessary for informed decision-making.
