[job_card.job_description]Processing of Inbound / Outbound Mail Collecting, sorting, inbound and outbound mail Operation of mail equipment or scanners Distribution of mail, including client mail routes. Miscellaneous work related to special projects as assigned by the client or OMG Management Complete all work as assigned by OMG Management High School Diploma or equivalent Knowledge of mail room environment preferred. Intermediate computers skills Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills required Ability to multi-task with attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers. Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions. Strong initiative with an ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. This role is responsible for retrieving and scanning batches, indexing records and ensuring accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Retrieves batch name from system.
- Verifies all information to ensure accuracy on cover sheets.
- Checks for clarity and readable material.
- Removes all incorrect information.
- Indexes all paperwork according to correspondence category, policy and company number.
- Submits final batch to system.
- Adheres to the Standards of Excellence
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
All positions require cross training to enable better service for our customer.
