Job Overview

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide companionship to help them safely remain in their homes. Caregivers are expected to follow individualized care plans and maintain open communication with clients and agency staff.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical)
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands, as assigned
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow agency policies

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, nursing facility, or similar)
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, PCA, CNA, or DSP is a plus
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Reliable transportation and ability to arrive to scheduled shifts on time
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
