Entry Level Accountant

If you're looking to find your place in the accounting field, we're looking for Accountant candidates who create spreadsheets in their sleep. Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant with a highly successful organization in the Twin Cities. This role is responsible for reviewing financial statements with a heavy data entry component. Are you interested in spreadsheet creation and manipulation? Major responsibilities:

• Facilitating full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Helping with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
• Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts
• Researching and correcting account discrepancies
• Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned
• Data entry

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree in Accounting (or related)
• Exposure to QuickBooks or other ERP system highly desired
• Intermediate Excel knowledge (PivotTables, V-Lookups) preferred
• Account reconciliation experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening)
• Great attention to detail
