Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join their team. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will be part of the procurement department supporting the sourcing and supplier management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Purchasing Assistant

Location : Beloit, WI

Pay Range : $25 / hr - $30 / hr

Shift : 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Create and maintain supplier contracts within SAP and other contract management platforms.
• Ensure contract metadata aligns with sourcing projects and organizational standards.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies in collaboration with Accounts Payable.
• Monitor contract expiration dates and coordinate timely renewals.
• Support communication between Buyers and Site Material Planners regarding costing and pricing.
