• Shift : 3-11 : 00pm or 1-11 : 30pm & 3 weekday calls per 4 week schedule.1.\tUnit Name : Operating Room Surg Tech.2.\tBrief Unit Description : Level II Trauma; complex community setting.3.\tShift : Days 7am-5 : 30pm, 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4 week schedule. 1-2 rotation to Eves 1p-11 : 30pm per 4 week cycle. 2-3 weekday calls per 4 week schedule.4.\tYears of Experience Required : minimum 1-2 years of OR experience.5.\tClinician to Patient Ratio : 1 : 1.6.\tPatient Population : Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric.7.\tBed Count : 15.8.\tCensus : Approximately 30 - 40 patients per day.9.\tEMR (Charting System) : EPIC.10.\tFloating Required : No.11.\tRotating Shifts Required : Yes, approximately 2-3 shifts every 4 weeks. Weekend rotation working 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm and Call 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm every 1 of 4 weeks - NO NIGHT CALL.12.\tCall Requirement : Surg Techs are expected to take Call weekends and weekday Eve Call. 13.\tCertifications Required : Surg Tech Certification. Surg Techs do not perform any cardiac monitoring, so no EKG or Telemetry required.
