Immigration Legal Director

A company is looking for a Legal Director who will lead a training and mentorship-centered practice while shaping the organization's growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and update training materials and online courses for pro bono attorneys

Provide mentorship and quality assurance for volunteer and staff work products

Recruit and engage pro bono counsel through trainings and meetings with legal teams

Required Qualifications

J.D. and active bar admission in good standing in any U.S. state or territory

Ten or more years of experience in immigration law, particularly in removal defense and asylum

Experience supervising attorneys or accredited representatives and managing complex work

Training or teaching experience with the ability to convey complex information clearly

Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices aligned with the organization's mission
