MAAG Shipping & Receiving Clerk Post

Kelly is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a leading manufacturer servicing the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.

$20.00 - $23.00

• Based on Experience

8 : 00 am – 4 : 00 pm Monday – Friday

Responsibilities :

Execute the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

Tracks, traces and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Operates a forklift to load / unload trucks and to remove / replace items on inventory shelves.

Inspects, identifies, tags, and receives all commercial items ordered from suppliers

Packs items securely for shipment on UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL, and truck shipments.

Works with purchasing to resolve discrepancies on incoming shipments from suppliers.

Pulls, issues, and delivers items for Production orders, spare part orders, projects, and inventory.

Maintains an accurate inventory transaction in SAP.

Operates a handheld scanner.

Cycle count warehouse inventory daily.

Physical Requirements :

Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to lift items up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to work in a warehouse and subject to changing environmental conditions. Including, but not limited to : temperature variations, humidity, rain, snow, wind and direct sunlight.

Job Requirements :

High School diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus).

Basic computer skills.

Willingness to learn new skills to advance in the company.

Tow motor experience is a plus but is into required.

Experience with ERP systems, SAP R3 a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently, within a team and work overtime when needed.
