[job_card.job_description]Review and prepare complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Develop and execute tax strategies to reduce client liabilities while ensuring full regulatory compliance. Stay current on tax law changes and provide proactive guidance to clients and staff. Serve as a trusted tax advisor, delivering customized guidance and solutions. Proactively identify client needs and promote relevant firm services. Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Improve tax department workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy. Evaluate and implement tax software to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. Ensure strict adherence to all relevant tax laws, ethical standards, and firm policies. Represent clients during tax audits and work directly with tax authorities as needed. Proven leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax / accounting software (e.g., CCH Axcess). Ability to develop and implement effective procedures and make sound decisions. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA license or Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax. Deep knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations. Strong client service orientation and problem-solving skills.
