A company is looking for an Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs for Pet Food.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team focused on regulatory compliance in pet food labeling and product registration

Act as the regulatory expert for cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations

Oversee the substantiation of product claims and manage regulatory documentation and software tools

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field

7+ years of experience in pet food, food science, or regulatory affairs

Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects

In-depth knowledge of FDA, AAFCO, FSMA, HACCP, and state-level regulations

Experience with nutritional analysis software and formula development tools
