Job Details

  • SFMC Neonatal ICU
  • Must have NICU EXPERIENCE
  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient / family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
  • The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his / her assigned patients.
  • Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology.
  • Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and / or response to treatment.
  • Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

    • Job Requirements

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Min. 1 year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.

  • American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Proof of 2 Vaccines or Positive Titer showing immunity
  • Annual Respirator fit test. Locations that allow onsite testing : NJ - Saint Michael's Medical Center, NJ-Saint Mary's Hospital, CA-West Anaheim Medical Center, CA-Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center.
  • Flu Vaccine or declination required October 1-May 31.
  • Driver's license, State ID, or Passport
  • Vaccination / titer showing immunity
  • Rhode Island Hospitals a declination is not accepted, per the Dept of Health.
  • Completed after all other credentials are uploaded and with most up to date information.
