Site Operations Manager (Armed)
We are seeking a highly reliable and experienced Armed Site Operations Manager to join our fast growing security company in Southern California. This role is designed for leaders who are fully available, operationally strong, and capable of managing both people and client relationships in dynamic environments.
Availability Requirements
This is a leadership role that requires full flexibility .
Candidates must be available for days, nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in both armed security and supervisory or management roles
Prior management experience is mandatory
Former law enforcement or military background is strongly preferred
Valid California Guard Card and Exposed Firearms Permit required
Strong communication, leadership, and decision making skills
Ability to respond to operational issues on short notice
Core Responsibilities
As a Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end execution of assigned accounts, including :
Managing client relationships and acting as the primary operational point of contact
Building, maintaining, and adjusting officer schedules
Handling call offs, coverage gaps, and last minute operational changes.
Providing hands on field support and working shifts when required.
Training officers and reinforcing company standards and culture.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining site specific SOPs.
Supporting onboarding and ongoing development of assigned teams.
Collaborating closely with executive management and HR.
This is not a desk only position. Managers are expected to remain operationally engaged and visible in the field.
Training and Advancement Path
Phase 1 : Cross Training and Field Integration (Weeks 1–6)
Candidates begin as flex officers to learn operations from the ground up. This phase focuses on understanding company policies, culture, client expectations, and field execution across multiple sites.
Phase 2 : Management Training and Evaluation (Weeks 6–8)
Formal management training begins, including HR onboarding, manager assessments, SOP reviews, scheduling systems, and account management responsibilities.
Phase 3 : Site Operations Manager Assignment (Week 8 and Beyond)
Upon successful completion, candidates are promoted to Site Operations Manager and assigned their first client accounts with full operational responsibility.
Compensation and Incentives
Base hourly rate : $23–$25 per hour
Managers receive incentives on all hours managed , not just hours worked
With incentives, effective hourly compensation can reach up to $30 per hour
Performance bonuses available based on account execution, reliability, and leadership
