Inspired Home Care of Arizona is a newly established and rapidly growing home health agency currently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) effective immediately. We provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages and backgrounds in the comfort of their homes throughout Maricopa County.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working one-on-one with patients outside of a traditional clinical setting and who are passionate about supporting patients' independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care and Monitoring

• Observe and monitor patients' physical and mental condition and report changes to the supervising nurse

• Record vital observations including intake, output, and physical activity levels when appropriate

• Document patient information accurately in patient care records or journals

Personal Care Assistance

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene

• Support patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning as needed

• Assist patients with the use of mobility aids such as walkers or canes

Patient and Family Education

• Teach patients and family members safe techniques for lifting, turning, and repositioning patients

• Provide guidance on personal hygiene practices and safe home care routines

• Offer support and education on maintaining proper nutrition and cleanliness

Safety and Compliance

• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment

• Follow infection control procedures and asepsis standards

• Adhere to agency policies, professional standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations

Professional Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare team members

• Report unusual or changing patient conditions promptly to the nursing supervisor

• Contribute to the agency's reputation by maintaining professionalism and delivering quality patient care

Required Skills and Competencies

• Ability to create and maintain a safe patient care environment

• Knowledge of basic patient care and home health practices

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills

• Dependability and strong work ethic

• Emotional maturity and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally

• Effective time-management and organizational skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Current Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License

• Current CPR Certification

• Two-Step TB Test required

• COVID-19 vaccination preferred

• Previous home health or caregiving experience preferred
