[job_card.job_description]Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or accredited allopathic / osteopathic medical program. Current NCCPA or physician board certification. Current, unrestricted Florida licensure as a PA, medical or osteopathic physician (or eligibility). Master’s degree required. An earned doctorate in a health-related field or in education preferred. A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. Prior faculty experience is preferred. The College of Nursing and Health Sciences places high value on previous experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and experience using distance learning technology.

The Physician Assistant Program at Barry University seeks an Assistant / Associate Professor for the Physician Assistant Program in Miami, Florida.
Barry University’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) is seeking a dynamic and innovative full time (12 month) faculty members to join our interdisciplinary group of healthcare experts. This position will be dedicated to our graduate-level Physician Assistant program (Master of Clinical Medical Sciences).
Essential Functions
- Teach graduate-level courses in the physician assistant program.
- Provide student mentorship and advising, including master’s theses / projects.
- Engage in Program, College, and University service.
- Engage in scholarship.
- Assist Program Leadership in coordinating clinical rotations.
