As part of the Governments reset of the science innovation and technology system on 1 July 2025 AgResearch Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research Plant & Food Research and Scion merged to form the New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science trading as the Bioeconomy Science Institute.

We are seeking a Product Owner Digital Science Products to lead the development and optimisation of digital products that deliver science-based services to the agriculture industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring our digital offerings are impactful customer-focused and commercially viable.

You will work closely with scientists commercial teams and external stakeholders to shape product strategy manage the product lifecycle and ensure delivery aligns with both research goals and market needs. This is a unique opportunity to bridge science and technology and to help translate complex research into practical scalable digital solutions.

Youre a strategic thinker with a passion for turning science into real-world digital solutions. With a strong background in product ownership or management you thrive in agile environments and are confident translating complex scientific or technical concepts into clear actionable plans.
