Restoration Technician In North Charleston!!!!

pay: 22 -28 an hour, shift : 7am - 4pm

Working onsite at College of Charleston

Must pass MVR

2 years carpentry experience, preferably in restoration or construction

Pay is based on experience, all hired employees will train and work towards drastic pay increases

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician with strong carpentry experience to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about restoring residential and commercial properties after damage caused by water, fire, mold, or other disasters. You will be part of a dynamic team that revitalizes properties while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural repairs including framing, drywall, flooring, and finish carpentry.
• Assist in property restoration tasks such as debris removal, containment setup, and moisture mitigation.
• Evaluate damage and determine the best restoration techniques.
• Operate and maintain restoration equipment, including drying systems and moisture meters.
• Document project progress with photos, sketches, and written reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on-site.

• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience, preferably in restoration or construction
• Higher pay to those with direct restoration experience but construction, restoration or carpentry is encouraged.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm. The position involves working onsite at various locations, including the College of Charleston and other clients. Tasks will be performed both indoors and outdoors.

This is a Contract position based out of North Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
