American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for healthcare providers. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification at or within 90 days of hire. NVCI / CPI Training (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) initial certification within six (6) months of hire, refresher completed annually. IV Competency completion within 6 months of hire. Three (3) years of LPN experience in an acute care hospital. - Under the direction of the department leadership provides nursing care for assigned patients. Performs care, treatments, and procedures within scope of practice and established guidelines and provides a safe and therapeutic environment.
