Research Assistant : Creative Coding

Part time research assistant on research project focused on supporting the development of a creative coding programming environment. The research assistant will contribute to design, development, and evaluation of a new creative coding programming environment to support computer science education

Job Description :

• Contribute to literature review on existing tools and curriculum for supporting creative coding
• User experience and interface design for a prototype creative coding programming environment
• Implementation of web-based programming environment tool using React, Node, Javascript
• Assist in user study design and implementation to evaluate effectiveness of prototypes
• Academic writing of research results in preparation for conference paper submission

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements :

Hourly Rate : $26 / hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
