Credentials Required : LPC or LCSW preferred. LCADC, LAC, LSW also accepted. NJ licensure required. '

Job Details :

The Mental Health Primary Therapist provides direct clinical services within a mental health focused setting . Work includes assessments, counseling, treatment planning, and documentation . The role supports adults experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, and co-occurring substance use. Clinicians collaborate with the treatment team to support individualized care and maintain compliance with all confidentiality and documentation standards. Experience with CBT, DBT, MI, solution focused approaches or EMDR is helpful but not required.

Job Responsibilities :

Complete biopsychosocial assessments and evaluate clinical needs

Manage an assigned caseload based on experience

Provide individual, family and group therapy

Facilitate group sessions and maintain client engagement

Develop and update treatment plans and discharge planning

Provide crisis intervention and stabilization when needed

Document all services within the EMR in a timely and accurate manner

Coordinate care with internal staff and participate in weekly meetings

Maintain adherence to confidentiality laws and ethical guidelines

Provide case management and ongoing support as appropriate

Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural and individual differences

Support overall clinical operations as needed

Qualifications :

Active NJ licensure as LPC, LCSW, LAC, LSW or LCADC

At least one year of clinical client care experience as a licensed clinician

Experience in mental health treatment preferred

Strong documentation and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
