Licensed P&C Agent / Account Manager (Temp-to-Hire)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) Agent / Account Manager to join a growing insurance agency. This is a temp-to-hire part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal and small commercial lines a proactive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional client service. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of the agency.

Compensation Package

  • Hourly Rate : $25 / hour (approximately $40000 - $45000 annual base salary for part-time work)
  • Benefits : Temporary benefits provided

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to clients by handling personal and small commercial lines accounts (70% personal 30% small commercial).
  • Respond to inbound calls and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with quoting new and renewal business.
  • Support the agency in implementing a new agency management system.
  • Collaborate with the agency owner to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
  • Engage in sales activities to contribute to the agencys growth (not required but preferred).

    • Qualifications / Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on personal lines and small commercial lines.
  • Familiarity with Erie and Progressive insurance products is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a growing agency.
  • Experience with various agency management systems is a plus.
  • Availability to work part-time (20 hours per week) with potential for full-time in the future.
