Emergency Medicine Physician

ER physician needed in Cheraw, SC!

Rate is $300 / hour

Qualifications :

Board Certified Emergency Medicine OR Family Medicine accepted (as long as they have extensive experience working in an ED setting). But EM is preferred.

• Licensed SC Medical, SC Controlled Substance, and DEA
• ED On Site Coverage needed
• Volumes average around 1.5 patients per hour.
• The ED is fairly new (built within the past few years) and has 19 ED beds, 2 Resuscitation Bays, and 3 Behavioral Health rooms
• ED Physicians MUST be comfortable with procedures, a high risk ED, and working alone. After 10 pm at night the ED Physician will be the only ED Physician on site until 7 am the next morning.
• Please also note that this assignment is at a rural facility, with General Surgery, Ortho, and Hospitalist backup
• Procedures include, but are not limited to : fracture reductions, central lines, art lines, managing ventilators, etc.
• Physician will also be required to cover all inpatient codes
• Mostly evening shifts needed
