RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

Travel assignment position available

38-bed neurology / medical-surgical unit on 7th floor

Patient ratios : 4 : 1 preferred, currently running 5 : 1 due to staffing needs

Work with IV pumps, seizure monitoring equipment, Bi-pap, C-pap, and glucometers

Electronic medical record system : Meditech

Required certifications : NIH certification, BLS, heavy medical-surgical background

Preferred qualifications : ACLS and neurology experience

Perform NIH / stroke assessments, neurological assessments, and fall risk assessments

Provide trach care and feeding tube management

Must be highly motivated team player with strong critical thinking skills

Ideal candidate is passionate about neurology patient population with ability to multi-task

Position requires flexibility, positive attitude, and engagement with patient experience initiatives

The facility follows Neuro Clinical Practice Guidelines for stroke care and maintains high standards for patient care.
