Job Title : Insurance Agent / Future Agency Owner – Farmers Training Program

Location : Orange County, CA

Compensation : $50,000–$90,000 (base + commission) + $4,000 graduation bonus

This is a direct path to business ownership, with training, mentorship, and income along the way. Successful graduates transition into Agency Owner roles with the ability to build a long-term business backed by one of the most recognized names in insurance.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow a book of business in auto, home, life, and commercial insurance.
  • Lead client development, sales, and service.
  • Build and manage a team as you prepare for your own agency.
  • Complete University of Farmers® training to sharpen business and sales skills.

What We’re Looking For

  • P&C licensed (or willing to obtain quickly).
  • Leadership or management background (business ownership, team leadership, or sales management).
  • Entrepreneurial drive with financial readiness to transition into ownership.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

    Licensed insurance agents, producers, or sales professionals looking to grow with a leading brand. We welcome experience from any carrier — including State Farm, Allstate, Liberty Mutual, GEICO, Progressive, or independent brokerages — who want the support, training, and long-term income potential of the Farmers Insurance Protege Program . Candidates with experience in insurance sales, property and casualty, life and health, business development, or management are encouraged to apply.

    Requirements

  • Active California Property & Casualty license (preferred) or ability to obtain within 45 days
  • Minimum 1 year of sales, business development, or management experience
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (phone, text, and in-person)
  • Self-motivated and organized with consistent follow-through
  • Ability to work full-time and complete Farmers’ onboarding / training program
  • Basic computer literacy — CRM, email, quoting platforms
  • Must live in or be willing to commute to Orange County or surrounding areas
