Describe the situation that prompted the

need for temporary assignment (i.e.,

employee on FMLA, vacant position,

etc.).

In Administrative Clerk will be going out on an extended leave. This will create some gaps in the departments and temporary Administrative Clerk is needed to help with coverage.

How long is the assignment expected to Last :

For 60 days unless extended

Please explain the Specific skills required (please describe) :

Two (2) years responsible administrative experience including public contact. Knowledge of scanning & electronic filing techniques and computer applications including email, word processing, databases and spreadsheets. Experience working with or for assisted housing programs, social services programs, property management or other housing-related field is desirable.

Please list a Summary of duties and / or special requirements. Must provide five or more specific responsibilities :

Perform a wide variety of general administrative duties including but not limited to : - Providing information & assistance to program participants, clients, and the general public -Receive, review, scan, and distribute a variety of documents and general correspondence - Completing assigned tasks relating to particular functions in support of HACA's departments - Help with lobby coverage and answer and direct phone calls received in the HACA call center - Perform data entry and utilize housing software systems - Process mail which may include receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence
