Join our team and help us keep communities connected. Stantec's New England Transportation group is looking for a talented, team-focused Transportation Engineer to join our practice in Auburn, NH!

Stantec has an immediate need for a Transportation Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in roadway / highway design and pedestrian / bicycle facility design. Task management experience is a plus and more experienced individuals are encouraged to apply as there is flexibility in this position. This position is for an individual looking to challenge themselves on a variety of transportation projects in the region.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Transportation Engineer, you will join a growing team of transportation professionals and play a lead role in the highway design component of large and small roadway and bridge projects throughout New Hampshire and New England. Your Key Responsibilities include :

• Design roadways in accordance with AASHTO and NHDOT specifications and CADD standards using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, and InRoads / OpenRoads.
• Develop and oversee design plans and calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
• Prepare engineering reports and technical studies such as design memos, feasibility studies, and concept design reports.
• Collaborate with team members, other disciplines and offices, and sub-consultants.
• Perform field investigations and construction phase services support.
• Interact with and present project designs to clients, agencies, and the public.
• Thorough understanding of project tasks within the overall project schedule, budgeting, and available resources.
• Provide guidance to influence, mentor, and train team members with a positive growth-oriented perspective.
