About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Interventional Radiology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift : 10 Experience : 1 year required License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : ACLS, BLS Must-Have : Call required Weekend shifts required as needed 1 year experience required Accepts first-time travelers Description : The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional procedures. The role includes administering and monitoring procedural sedation, as well as interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. The nurse will perform sheath removal and monitoring, and utilize vascular closure systems. Clienttion and laser safety protocols must be followed. The nurse will also assess and prevent pressure ulcers. Experience with angioplasty, carotid stenting, and upper and lower extremity angiography is required. Knowledge of the Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale is essential. This position involves working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including IV Teams and Radiology. Candidates must be flexible and able to work weekends as needed. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
