The Medical Surgical RN Clinical Coordinator will help lead a high-acuity Medical Surgical service line embedded within a designated Stroke Center and Cardiac Center, complemented by a strong orthopedics program that delivers coordinated post-op, joint-replacement, and spine pathways. The Medical Surgical RN Clinical Coordinator will drive throughput, patient education, and multidisciplinary rounds that optimize recovery from complex medical conditions, post-surgical care, and neurologic and cardiac comorbidities.

The Medical Surgical RN Clinical Coordinator will report to a seasoned Nurse Manager and collaborate closely with a Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Educator, and engaged charge nurses within a friendly, diverse, and highly skilled interprofessional team. The Medical Surgical RN Clinical Coordinator will oversee daily operations, mentor clinicians, support onboarding and competencies, advance quality metrics and stroke / cardiac / orthopedic protocols, coordinate staffing and scheduling, and partner with case management, therapy, pharmacy, and hospitalists to elevate patient outcomes.
