Job Summary :

Join a great breast imaging team at the Piper Breast Center - Coon Rapids. At this comprehensive breast imaging facility, you will perform breast ultrasounds and assist the radiologist with interventional procedures while providing a comfortable and supportive environment for our patients. Must be registered / certified with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in Breast within one year of hire.

• No weekends
• Casual requirements are to pick up at least 2 shifts per month
• May float to any of the Piper Breast Center Locations- Coon Rapids, Minneapolis, Plymouth and St. Paul

Job Description :

Performs abdominal, small parts, OB / GYN, vascular imaging and provides sonography guidance for interventional procedures, in accordance with department policies and the American College of Radiology (ACR). Uses independent judgment, and has thorough understanding of equipment and positioning to provide optimum service to patients and providers.

Principle Responsibilities

Identifies patient with two identifiers.

Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment.

Uses Excellian (electronic medical record).

Reports problems, issues or ideas.

Pay Range

Pay Range : $37.67 to $51.63 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and / or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
