Quality Technician

Position Summary

Position will inspect product according to specifications and standards. Document non conformances and work with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and assist in analyzing data to identify corrective and preventive improvements
• Assist in 8D and 5Why investigations of issues
• Read and interpret the requirements of drawings.
• Analyze drawing requirements and make sound determination(s) of the appropriate inspection method / equipment to be used for product acceptance.
• Use inspection equipment (ID / OD mics, calipers, various other gages) in determining product acceptance.
• Initiate and complete all quality (Inspection) related records and documents with minimal supervision.
